Grants
Mississippi HeARTS Against AIDS invites 501(c)(3) organizations that prioritize services to persons living with HIV/AIDS to submit a grant application for monies from our 2007-2008 fundraising. Completed applications must be returned by Certified Mail to Mississippi HeARTS Against AIDS, P. O. Box 13371, Jackson, MS 39236, and be postmarked by Saturday, March 1, 2008 to be considered.
Historically, HeARTS funding has been used to support temporary, emergency assistance to organizations that support access to HIV Disease-related medication, medical and dental services for those in financial need. The Executive Board will consider grant applications from any HIV-dedicated organization, but its' programmatic priorities include requests for funding specific capital and client-service needs, rather than administration and general funds. Those requesting funds for capital assets must include a prioritized wish list to assist HeARTS in matching available funds with the organization's goals and needs.
